A man has caused an accident on the AG-56 highway in Santiago de Compostela after suffering a cardiac arrest.
The 112 received a warning around 2 p.m. reporting an accident on the AG-56 highway and requesting medical assistance for the driver of a vehicle.
Firefighters, police and health services have gone to the scene. According to emergency services, the cause of the accident was that the man suffered a cardiac arrest while driving and lost control of the car. He was immediately transferred by helicopter to the Santiago de Compostela Hospital.
Several kilometers of traffic jams have been registered as a result of the accident.
